svcnd prob in winkawaks 1.48dev

Hey im new to this forum so plz don't flame me for asking this newbile question. I downloaded svc the other day and got winkawaks 1.48 dev.

When i tryed running any of the svc rom options in winkawaks none of them worked. Acording to romcentre iv'e got all the right files for svcnd apart from:

269-m1d.bin

269-p1.bin

269-v1d.bin

269-v2d.bin

 

So i was wondering if there were any fix's for this like a patch or somthing

Well, what are the CRCs of the four files you have and what does Kawaks excpet them to be?

 

For an easier solution, Find Kawaks Loader and make your own DAT for the romset you have.

I tryd using kawaks+loader but it didn't work

the crcs for them files are

I don't think that even counts as being a Kawaks DAT.

This is just an example. Edit this DAT so that it matches your set name, filenames and CRCs, then try again.

ive just notice that there is no asr file in my winkawaks dev folder, that might explain why i didn't give u the proper dat

If I were you, I'd ditch the dev in a flash, since it uses different sets than the "normal" Kawaks, IIRC.

Ok, what emu do u recommend

if you can get Kawaks Loader to show up games, use that. If not, use Nebula Loader. NeoRAGEx is an acquired preference of mine, but that being said, it's quite outdated, but still a very viable option.

 

If James were here, he'd cut me off pretty quick and tell you to use MAME. But then again, that's an acquired preference on his part. :ph34r:

i think im late but heres something you need to know:

 

1.) the p1 you need is 32 MB, not 8 MB

 

2.) even if you get all the files you need, it wouldnt work properly with KDev anyway (garbled text data). however CloneMAME and other FBA builds on the net can use those files properly.
