gfrommy Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 What controller would you guys recomend for emulation gamimg. I look to be playing NES, SNES, N64, PSX, PS2, Xbox. And I'm willing to pay up to $50 USD.
Gryph Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 These are two good ones:http://www.saitekusa.com/usa/prod/p2500.htmhttp://www.saitekusa.com/usa/prod/p880.htm I have an old Microsoft Sidewinder and I find it inadequate sometimes.
gfrommy Posted January 10, 2005 Author Posted January 10, 2005 I was looking in to the Saitek P3000 Wireless Gamepad the other day and it looked to fit my needs. But I wanted to see what some other people use.
Inky Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 pc gamepad always seem to have crappy directional pads. I use an xbox controller and home made adapter. I have used ps2 pads with adapters before. I think both are good, I just like the xbox pad better then the ps2 pad.
Weirdy Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 if you were like me and grew up in the 16-bit era playing nothing but snes all the TYME, and you also liked psx, then I recommend getting a converter and using a dual shock 2. Works best with all my emu's
Agozer Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 I've always used Sidewinders, but like Weirdy said, a converter and a PS2 Dual Shock is great for emulation.
Darken Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 I got genius maxfire gamepad and it`s realy fit allllll what you need
KyokugenKiss Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 the absolute best is the belkin nostromo, its great for every emulator

I think both are good, I just like the xbox pad better then the ps2 pad.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> I also use an xbox controller with an adapter (and I don't even own an Xbox). I wanted to get an arcade-style stick and found it was much much cheaper to get a console version and an adapter rather than a pc arcade stick. For gamepad I use my dreamcast controller. Any console pad will be better than a pc version. Just pick your favorite and get an adapter.
