US Army trashes Babylon

Coalition forces in Iraq have caused irreparable damage to the ancient city of Babylon, the British Museum says.

 

Sandbags have been filled with precious archaeological fragments and 2,600 year old paving stones have been crushed by tanks, a museum report claims.

rebuilding Babylon was actually one of Saddams biggest projects from what I heard

 

I heard it from this tutor at school who was in the marines and had to go to Iraq and got to see Babylon. He said there was a huge ass castle, and walls around it that were hollow for secret stuff to go on.

 

I guess it's where Saddam wanted to conduct operations for his supposed new world order
