I just obtained a small command-line util which is supposed

to encrypt / decrypt the roms. Have to try it later. I also got

matrimelee and it worked perfectly on NRX. Only 3 roms

were accepted for mame/kawaks.

Cool Just as long as you know anygame after 1998 were encrypted sets and are meant to be true dumps So games like matrimelee are not true dumps that run in NRX. If you want help with roms in Mame or Kawaks Then send me a PM But if NRX runs best for then use what works for you

My version of neoragex is the EGCG, and down the bottom right hand corner it says 2003-12.

 

Are all the roms in a set possibly encrypted... or only some of them? In other words, I expect that graphics are encrypted, and possibly the sound,..,, what about the others?

 

Once I know this, I can try unencrypting some roms and see if i can get more games working on NRX

It's pretty common that any of the roms are encrpyted, but not all of them.

 

Encryptionis usually pretty easy to spot by looking at the individual compression ratios inside a zip archive.

An encrypted sets will be like 90mb zipped Where decrypted is around 40mb zipped.
