I think it should be a requirement before you even try to play emulated games. While I sorta agree, they still have the right to ask questions. So before using the RomDataMaker, I finished downloading the Clone MAME by James and tried the "encrypted" svc rom... this is what I got.. Isn't this the part where I have to make the.DAT file? You filenames do not match those that MAME expects (or CRCs, depending how james put the build together). Gryph Posted January 20, 2005 Share Posted January 20, 2005 Better yet, just take a screenshot of you the ROM zip open. And make sure you have show CRCs enabled. MVS => svchaosa.zip (which I don't have. about 50mb or something)PCB => svcchaos.zip (which I have. about 102mb) I tried the PCB version.. and EUREKA!! here it is... thanks to all... for the help.. now i can sleep!
