Gryph Posted January 22, 2005 Posted January 22, 2005 http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=stor...c/lost_in_spaceDavid Atkinson spent 18 years designing an experiment for the unmanned space mission to Saturn. Now some pieces of it are lost in space. Someone forgot to turn on the instrument Atkinson needed to measure the winds on Saturn's largest moon. Wow, talk about complete suckage. All that work wasted due to an easily avoidable human error.
Aoshi Posted January 22, 2005 Posted January 22, 2005 18 years of his life, THats unexcusable, man he must have throttled the guy at the switch.
Agozer Posted January 22, 2005 Posted January 22, 2005 (edited) I can just picture what went on in the scientist's head when he realized his demise. Edited January 22, 2005 by Agozer
Robert Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 At least it won't take 18 years next time - if there is a next time.
