Federelli Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 http://www.ndsemu.com/http://www.ndsemulator.com/ The following pages offer the same emulator, which resembles DSEmu 0.0.1a so, so very much. They look the same besides some basic code changes, and it runs the same things dsemu0.0.1a, and worst of all, the.zip file has the same structure (and folder name "dsemu 0.0.1a").
Federelli Posted January 25, 2005 Author Posted January 25, 2005 Oh, also the same icon is used, i mean... just take a look:
NeoMaster Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Those bastards, have you tried contacting them to ask for their comments?
Federelli Posted January 25, 2005 Author Posted January 25, 2005 I think Two9A should handle this thing, besides he's to check wether it's stolen or not.
Gryph Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 And the exe is says this "dsemu.exe - Main executable." I don't think they're claiming it as their own... This is fishy.
Agozer Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Eh, this happens quite often, only most of the time word doesn't get out so much.
Dooz Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 I think all this site is doing is offering Nintendo DS emulators to download. However, since this is the only NDS emulator out there (That I know of), that is the only download offered. Unless I'm wrong, which I am quite often.
Alpha Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Actually, this guy has been known for stealing other's work and calling it his own. I believe Two9A already know's about this, if he doesn't then I'd be quite surprised.
Federelli Posted January 26, 2005 Author Posted January 26, 2005 Is DsEmu being distributed under the GPL? Then that site must credit Two9A, otherwise his in copyright infringement.

Your definately right, it's up to Two9A if he wants to press charges. It wouldn't be an easy battle though since this guy has done it with other emulators in the past as well from what I have read.
