I wouldn't know why it would be stupid. Some updates protect your computer from critical flaws. There was this bug I read in the news that does something with media player and ms released a fix for it the next day. Being the paranoid type, i appreciate stuff like that, but maybe that's just me.

2k is pretty good for networking, but it does have it's flaws when your gaming.

whats weird was i was trying to add a hd to my pc the other day and when i started up windows it said my windows had changes so much that i needed to reactivate it... ive never heard this happen to anyone else. Well i reactivated it and even though i had a good pin number i still feel weird and paranoid lol.

I've never had any flaws in gaming.. :banghead:

I do like the fact that 2k doesn't come with all of that bloaty crap and worthless eyecandy XP does.

XP is actually much better designed for gaming for it's younger 2k variant.

Based on boot times and performence, UT2k4 does better on XP then 2K. check it out sometimes.

I'm using pirated copy. If i want updates, I just go get them from my local pirates :banghead: It still save me tons of money.

And Yeah, I am heartless, cheap SOB ;) So what?

I won't use 10% of my salary just to get a legitimate Windows

when I can do that with 0.5%.
