Agozer
I don't care if this is old, I found this quite sad. Surprising? No. http://windowssecrets.com/050127/#story1 If you're up to it, I strongly recommend that you read some of the linked articles as well, as they provide more insight on wht kind of business practices adware and spyware companies have. Wizard
If the adware on my comp isn't life threating and bandwidth whoring, it's perfectly fine to me.
Gryph
I don't even scan for it anymore, maybe once or twice a month. I just don't care anymore.

It's ridiculous how the biggest adware companies are supported by large investment companies. Gladly that new law will hopefully make thing a bit better for the consumer. Daeval
That's interesting, but it doesn't say what he infected the computers with. If he tested with a bunch of obscure crap that no one with a brain actually gets, then his numbers don't really apply to practical real life situations. Inky
yeah as long is it doesn't slow my computer, or steal my bandwidth, I don't worry to much about it. I run adaware, and search and destroy and avg antivirus once a week. just to keep things semi clean, but I know there is more on my pc that I am not getting with those checks.
