1. When roms like KOF 2001 get officaly out in the rom scene (if its not already) do kacked roms like CTHD 2003 get released along with the orginal rom?

 

2. I found a rom site (i cant tell where it is for board rules) that had two versions of CTHD 2003. One was named CTHD.zip and the other was CTHD2003.zip. Which emulators use these two roms?

1. I don't think so since they are two different roms, I'm thinking about this as another version.

I like hacks sometimes like the SF2 CE hacks. Those hacks kinda made it a little more fun and interesting. Is there patches to the orginal roms to turn them into these hacked versions like SVC Chaos to SVC Chaos Super Plus?

Yes, most of the hacks are just patches and use the original roms as parents.

 

If you want a semi decent hack, get KOF 2004 Special Edition. The gameplay is exactly like KOF2002 (it's based off that) but it has some neat character palates and backgrounds.

Well i kinda anwsered my own question about the the orginal rom and thee hacked ver being out at the same time. I just got the new Kawaks and it has support for both KOF 2001/2002 and CTHD 2003/KOF 2004 SE

add to the fact that there probably isnt really abundant of them and theyre mainly released in Asian countries that still has a decent market for arcades (HongKong, Philippines, China, etc.)
