Can some one explain to me how to redump a rom please ? Also what is CHD ; what do i do with this & how to do it please ? Agozer Posted February 2, 2005 Share Posted February 2, 2005 (edited) You can only redump an arcade rom if you have the original board and specific dumping hardware + custom programs to do it. And yes, those cost quite a lot, and you most likely have to code your own dump programs.Dumping arcade games is easier with some games and extremely hard with others. Dumping is also expensive, and sometimes very time-consuming. CHDs are a type of a hard disk image. You nee dboth the CHD and a supported romset to play some games.
