Corn99 Posted February 16, 2005 Share Posted February 16, 2005 i think my computer has worms and virusus.for one thing when i log in the ie opens (without me clicking on it) to a page inf3ct3d.com or something ,not to mention many programs i ve never seen are on that process list on the task manager,not to mention errors with my softimge and sonic heroes*begins crying like a little girl*.then on my c: appears 3.exe files out of no where(autoprotect.exe,msdw32.exe(something like that),and i cant remeber that last one.)but last but not least my screen changes from the windows xp interface to classic inface out of now where. Corn99 Posted February 16, 2005 Author Share Posted February 16, 2005 i used norton(2004 i think) but that came with my pc and thanks to a visit from a nephew thatr defense in gone.right now i have a old copy of pc-illin like 2002 or 01 but i dont feel like installing it. With Avast, you have get a free registration key, but i prefer it to AVG. Both these antiviruses have realtime scanning and FREE updates to its virus definitions.
