Wizard Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 When IE 7 comes out, I'll try to make it read Chinese, Japanese and Korean codings.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Get East Asian Languages installed, then all your apps will get the encoding.
Chaotica Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 I recently changed to Firefox, and I like it, so its going to take alot of bells, whistles and other shiny stuff to make me change.
Gryph Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 A new Firefox WILL be made, there is no maybe about it. That project is alive and running full steam ahead. They weren't just going to stop at release 1.0.
Ryuken Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 i mean, they're gonna release a new one when the new IE comes out to counter it, if IE gets better
montpics Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 Just wait for it in the next year. Then we'll see.
kaioshade Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 I personally think its too little too late. IE6 with SP2 promised tons of improvements, and we didnt get nearly as much as ms promised. IE has to throw a lot intot he ring to get firefox users to even look their way again. Despite that, IE is still the dominant browser on the internet, due to some peoples inability, or even reluctance to change. lord knows it took me 1 year to convince my gf to switch to firefox.
Elazul Yagami Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 personally, i use both. mozillia still doesn't render some things properly. oh well. anyone heard of safari?
Agozer Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 I heard that most Linux people use Konqueror. Good for them.
