Mark Jen landed a dream job with Google Inc. in January. He was fired less than a month later.

His infraction? He ran a Web log, where he freely gabbed about his impressions of life at the Mountain View, Calif.-based Internet search giant.

3 letters, lol. O, and sucks to be him.

Anyways the main topic in there aint about google, its about...something like this

For companies, the growing popularity of blogs is a double-edged sword. On the one hand, corporate managers recognize the power of word-of-mouth as a sales tool. On the other hand, they're acutely aware of the dangers inherent in the rapid and widespread dissemination of company information.

yeah, I think thats it

In my opinion, Google could have looked into the matter more before firing him. Then again, we don't know how openly the man wrote about his experiences, so maybe he wrote about some company secrets or something.

Yeah. But Google is VERY secretive about it's financial numbers. Hell, they're secretive about everything, no body knows how many servers they use to run Google. Most people think that if it was ever revealed how many it would be one of the top 5 most powerful clusters in the world.

Because they serve the world with information. No one needs to know where that information comes from!
