Agozer
I'm sorry, but the guy who wrote the article is a total asshat. Takes so long to launch? Hardly. Crashing when opening PDFs? happened like once or twice.
Sturmvogel
I agree with Agozer...I just started using Firefox, and by no means does is it a "chore" to start. I basically click and it opens. He's so biased I wouldn't be surprised if he's on MS payroll, writing shite like that.
Gryph
It's funny how the author is acting like Firefox isn't going to be enhanced anymore. By the time IE7 comes out, it will be even better. And I open PDFs quite a lot on Firefox and it's just fine for me. Most of my school notes are downloadable through the school website and in PDF format and most scientific papers are now in PDF. That's a pretty unbalanced article. As long as IE is integrated into Windows, it will be the most unsafe.
Wizard
Your all bastards. My PDFs crash my firefox.
Agozer
Reading PDF documets is actually more fun than reading Word documents. PDF just seems... I dunno, more natural.
Dooz
I would say that IE is the best browser, if it didn't suddenly stop working for me. Now I say Firefox.
montpics
Editor's Note: This version has been edited to clarify that Internet Explorer 7 is not a true standalone browser release. That's enough for that though. Too bad.
