rando310
Hello! I can't figure out how to get the VMS manager working or how to save my games. I'm looking on the menus in Chankast but see nothing about saving. How do you do this?
Gryph
You mean like save states in other emulators? I think you can only save like you would on the actual system at save points.
rando310
You mean live save states in other emulators? I think you can only save normally like you would on the actual system, like at save points.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well i started playing Sonic today and i remember that the game automatically saves when you complete stages, but it's not doing that. In my VMS manager it says i have 0 available blocks of memory. Do you have to do anything for it to save?
Gryph
Found this over at the official Chankast forums (http://www.emutalk.net/showthread.php?t=20636) Q: I can't save my progress on any game. It says that there is no memory card or that the memory card does not have enough free blocks even though it's full. Why?A: You have to create a memory card from the plugins configuration of the emulator; then run the emulator without a CD in the (virtual) drive and format it from the bios. Agozer
You always need to format the VMS before you can use it.
