4tified
Hey. I have the ePSXe emulator on my dell 8100. DOes anyone know a good congfiguration (as far as plugins and settings are concerened) that will make GT1 and GT2 run more efficiently? My video settings are fine, but the music and sound affects during gameplay are choppy and out-of-sync...I've tried numerous configurations, but I haven't found one that works yet. Any help would be appreciated. P.S. -- By the way, I tried searching for a similar topic already so that it I wouldn't be bringing up that same topic again, but the search function has been temporarily disabled.Thanx

Agozer
Let's do it this way: Post your system specs + the plugins you use and the settings for them. Secondly, are you playing the game from the CD or from a mounted image?

Secondly, are you playing the game from the CD or from a mounted image?<{POST_SNAPBACK}> okay I guess that would help, huh? System: Dell Inspiron 8100 w/PIII running at 866mHz. 384 MB RAM, Nvidia GeForce GO (16MB) WIndows XP Professional w/ SP1 Using The ePSXe v1.6.0 emulator... Note: I did figure out the shortcut for the FPS and other tools using the shortcut buttons inside the game instead of exiting and configuring and restarting.... that helped with the frame speed and helped cut down on the music choppiness a bit, but it still skips around like crazy....that really sucks when you're trying to stay ahead in a race. Current Configuration: Pete's DX6 D3D Driver 1.72 (GPU) ePSXe SPU Core 1.5.2 (SPU) scph5502.bin (bios) ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.5.2 (cdrom)Using all the default settings within each plugin. Also, running game off the ISO Image There, hopefully that's all you need to knowI appreciate everyone's help.~Edward~
Z-Neo
You might try lowering the resolution if possible, and turning off some of the optional enhancements if they are on, that should add some to the speed.
Agozer
Are you using ePSXe's internal 'Load ISO' option?
