Agozer Posted March 21, 2005 Posted March 21, 2005 wouldnt know that y iam asking the experts here.if thats the case thats very bad then.so it only dx 8.1 support then right? As far as I know, yes. To get DX9 support, you'd need a Radeon 9500 or higher.
Gryph Posted March 21, 2005 Posted March 21, 2005 Yeah, it's only DX8.1. I mean, even if it did have DX9 support it wouldn't run that great. Most games now still have DX8.1 support. Performance-wise I don't really know since I never checked on benchmarks for it. It all depends on the kinds of games you are going to play. Well atleast one thing is true, it's better than the GeForce 4 MX.
Corn99 Posted March 21, 2005 Author Posted March 21, 2005 i dont need it for gaming i need for modeling. i do low poly so i dont have to worry about hpw many polygons on screen but with my intergrated graphics chip right now is the crappiest experience for modeling.
Corn99 Posted March 21, 2005 Author Posted March 21, 2005 oh i forgot thank you for the info and opinions.
