DirectX problem

I have problem with my DirectX.

Certain games will mention that I have problem with Direct3D

when they are ok when I play them before.

 

1. How do i uninstall and reinstall DirectX?

My version is DirectX0.9c which should be the latest, I think.

Uninstalling DirectX is a biatch. You're better just reinstalling it again. Make sure your graphics card drivers are also updated.

No, I meant new video drivers. The latest DX is DX9.0c.

Yeah, basically it can't even be uninstalled. Well, there are those 3rd party programs that are supposed to act like a DirectX uninstaller, but I tried one of them once and it made things worse.

basically the only clear cut safe way to uninstall directx is to reinstall your OS / reformat HD
