Does anyone know such a program?VirtualDub. That's all you need, but you better have the codecs too so you can do something.

Windows Movie Maker can do that too. Hell it comes with XP.
Daeval Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 VirtualDub can cut a chunk out of a frame? Sheesh, and I thought it was only good for format tweaks and audio editing.
Wizard Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 Problem with Vdub is it's a little more tedious when saving.
ken_cinder Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 Windows Movie Maker is a pile of CRAP, and it only spits out WMV. Oh and Vdub can do alot more than you'll ever even need. It's free, it's the best and NUFF SAID!

Sure Vdub is better, but when it comes to simplicity and ease, WMM beats it. And regular Vdub sucks. ModVdub is better.
Rag Posted April 21, 2005 Posted April 21, 2005 is Vdub faster than TMPGenc? TMPG is extremely slow on my comp
Wizard Posted April 21, 2005 Posted April 21, 2005 Virtual Dub is just some authoring/editing software, not a format converter like TMPG.
someboddy Posted April 21, 2005 Author Posted April 21, 2005 Well, VirtualDub produced a 202MB file! I need something that will fit a floppy-disc. Anyone know a good free program?
