ken_cinder
My Desktop I don't do Explorer, or anything else made by Microshat for that matter beyond the basic core of Windows. If you're wondering what my shell is, it's Aston and I'm running XP Pro. The drive listing on the left auto-hides, but I made it stay so it could be seen.I'm also a neat freak, desktops covered in shortcuts/icons are EWWW. Very easy, and it's just as functional as Explorer, if not more. There are, as with anything, a few quirks that might get on your nerves till you figure a way around em.It isn't a file manager too though (Explorer can function as either or both), I use Directory Opus for that. The big focal point for Aston is that it uses around 4.5-5MB of memory on avg, compared to Explorer using 36MB on avg!I've tried Litestep as well, but it uses 3x the resources Aston does, and it's too quirky/annoying to setup.
