Wizard Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 I guess I'll open it with the best news besides new LoZ pics. Samurai Spirits: Atomiswave is confirmed true and will be begin testing at the end of this month (04/30 fyi). All is known is 5 added characters along with the previous cast of SSV. No notice that it is being developed by Yuki, Noise Factory or Sammy. NGBC's final and last test will be happening as well at the end of this month. Now, you all have to PRAY that these 2 are coming out on ANYTHING. Because I'll be damned if SSVSP gets released at all.
BoomBa_GoosE Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 is it really an atmoswave game this time or is it another neowave kind of thing...
Aoshi Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 the art banner on the site does not make me particularly excited for this game snk doent screw this one up please.
Nusumenai Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 is it really an atmoswave game this time or is it another neowave kind of thing... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Looks a bit better. I still see a lot of rehashing action going on, but it looks alright. I'm wondering if they took the time to redraw the MoTw characters... I hope they didn't just resize them like they did in Kof03.
Inky Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 VICTOLY! anyways I am not to excited about either of these games. I haven't really likes SS since ss2 4 and 5 were "OK"/me waits for world heros sequel
Dooz Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 I'm just happy is anything SNK related is released. These guys haven't been too active ever since they moved to Atomiswave.
Z-Neo Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 It's nice to see Hanzo and Fuuma get brought back. Are any other WH characters in NGBC?
Gryph Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 So... These are gonna be pure arcade releases?<{POST_SNAPBACK}>That'd be suicide. They will most probably be ported to console for greater sales.
Wizard Posted April 28, 2005 Author Posted April 28, 2005 So... These are gonna be pure arcade releases?<{POST_SNAPBACK}>That'd be suicide. They will most probably be ported to console for greater sales.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Unlike the Americas & Europe, Asia & South America still has an arcade scene. Sure most of everything in South America is bootlegged, but sheit, it's still an arcade scene. Hell, the first place SNK tested Neowave on our side of the globe was in Mexico. So, like all SNK arcade games, they will be on the arcade market for 3 years then move to consoles.
Gryph Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 Well yeah, arcades for a while and then to consoles for more money. SNK would never pass up the opportunity to make more moola, no one would.
