Taking screenshots of movies from WMP

Is there a special program that I need to take screenshots of movies that I watch on Windows Media Player or any other video players?

 

'Cause, when I take screenshots of the movies, the screenshots come out black.

 

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Turn off hardware acceleration for videos. That should be the way if I recall, but if your lazy, use Media Player Classic and bind a button to the screenshot key.

I use BSPlayer to take pictures of videos.

Stop using WiMP and get a real media player......all the good ones are capable of taking a screenshot.

 

FYI, the reason it's not capable by just pressing "Print Screen", is because videos are played back using the framebuffer.
