-VIOLENCE- Posted May 29, 2005 Posted May 29, 2005 Yeah i haven't been active here lately since the academy really picked up. However i learned a hella cute trick in the Unix freeBSD terminal or whatever to change the name of the greeting. Usually it says "welcome to darwin!" who the hell is darwin? anyways i changed it into somthing else haha Changed Name - enjoy
Agozer Posted May 29, 2005 Posted May 29, 2005 Hahaha... Nice move. That reminds me... I need to dig up my FreeBSD build.

ken_cinder Posted May 30, 2005 Posted May 30, 2005 Aaah...good ol bash. I need a new computer to install Linux on... Why not dual boot? Hell I Tri-boot.......2k/XP/Mandrake
Gryph Posted May 30, 2005 Posted May 30, 2005 I thought about that but I don't want to mess with my system at all right now. I like the way it is right now and I'd have to reformat a few drives in order to do that which isn't worth it.
