The wosrt problem is that you can change the

Dip switch--> Territory from Japan into USA or Europe

and nothing happened.

Yep, U can do it with an hex editor if U can translate from japanese...

Of course. It just changes the machine region. If a game is only in japanese, you won't magically get english text just by changing the region/territory. This works in most Neo-Geo games though.

Yeh. You are right about that magical english text. The game is

only in Japanese

 

I think I should take my Japanese teacher in the University with me

and when the queston appeares in the game he translated

for me and I should answer the question that way

Regarding Neo-Geo translations, DeJap once started on Samurai Shodown RPG for the Neo-Geo CD, but it still hasn't been finished. There also the problem of how the translations would be applied.

 

(Probably by hacking the S1 and P1, but I'm not sure... and all Neo-geo games are coded in Assembly, which makes things relatively difficult anyway.)

I remember I played through all of Quiz KOF without knowing what the hell I was doing. It was quite an experience.

I did the same with the CPS-2 game Quiz Nanairo Dreams. It looked nice so it was fun to play. And I still have it.

I did the same with Rival Schools 2 on the psx

 

I did the story mode and there was a part where Kyoko was asking questions and I was all "w..t...f?"I'd choose random answers and get em right for some reason
