You'd be surprised at all the public info that's available on everybody. However, you have to pay to get anything besides the address and phone number which you can get by using any Internet phone book.

It is apparently using phone records. I know this because a search for my name turned up nothing. But then I thought about the fact that my phone company has my name spelled wrong in their records. So I searched for my misspelled name (as my phone company has it) and it turned up my correct address.
