Nusumenai Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 Graphics are secondary...I think people forget that the main part of a game is the gameplay.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Secondary? For a game based on pure action? What an odd thing to say..
Agozer Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 there is a game being released soon with hl2 gfx , its called S.T.A.L.K.E.R or something like that , but back on topic if u like games where u can pull off crazy move get devil may cry 3That really wasn't on-topic, methinks. And yes, we've been awiting for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. a long time now.

But I'm talking about games in general, not this one in particular. And S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is not going to be released soon. It's been delayed to atleast Q3-Q4 '05 and maybe even Q1 '06. The graphics are also way beyond HL2. Most of what we've seen is only the DX8 renderer and what they have shown of the DX9 renderer is indoor stuff. I can't wait to see what the DX9 outdoors looks like.

Wizard Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 I tried this last week. It could be better but I'd still play AUT2k4 or TSHL over this.
Diso Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 This game highly reminds me of the specialists for HL1
Agozer Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 I should really start playing Hl1 again after finishing Hl2. God I love these two games. Blue Shift and Opposing Force were good, but not really up to par with the original. About GUNZ (except for HL2: DM ocasionally), some of you know that I don't play online games too much, so I might pass on this as well.
suvo Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 have u ever played esf ? lol , they r deveolping 1 for hl2 gfx system i cant wait , if u dont know wat esf is its earths special forces and its dragon ball z online game , its fully crazy death match style with beams i like it

Diso: Yes, that what the game clearly reminds me without the FPS view. Full-auto weapons clearly own the game while pistols and swords are mearly style points. In the end it makes me want to play The Specialist. The only good side about GUNZ is the way you can customize your character, something that could be suggested on the TS forums for more character options.
