my comp sucks

my computer is dead due to a hd failure , so i convinced my mom to buy me a new one once she gets back from vacation , its gonna suck getting roms and programs back , but its all good , im on my sisters comp right now (diff house) >_< damn hd , im playing gunz btw if anyone wants to join

ok madi, here's what you do. You get that hd that's in your comp, and set the pins to "slave" (there will be a rectangular shaped thingie on the back, set to the 2nd to the last collumn of two). Then, if and when you get a new comp, you can use that as your slave hd. You won't have to recover anything

It's possible to recover data with that method from what I did. Since thats how I got MOST of my photoshop psds when I had another drive in here before my 120.

a tiny piece came out of the board at bottom of the hd , i think it was a resistor and i have no clue where its at , the hd powers up and i can hear it humming and crap , but it wont boot
