Alpha
CKEmu told me about this today or should I say yesterday (I've been slow lately ) and it's remarkable news. The screenshots are simply amazing and I recommend everyone to download the video!Recent work on PCSX2, a Playstation 2 emulator, has allowed Guilty Gear Isuka to not only be fully playable, but at 'reasonable' speeds. By reasonable, I am talking about 15-25 FPS (apx half real speed) in battles, and 40-50 FPS in menus (practically full speed!). Alot of this is thanks to Gabest's remarkable DirectX9 GPU plugin (GSdx), and continuing work on various aspects of PCSX2. Gabest's plugin was used to produce these shots, and the video below! To demonstrate how 'accurate' PCSX2 is getting, I have produced a video showing from character selection to a full battle. The video is faster than actual emulated speeds. Video Format: divX 5File Size: 33.0 MB (34,610,176 bytes)Video size: 640x480Length: 0:03:09 Download the Video hereThis is a torrent, so you will need either Azureus or some other client to download the video. PLEASE seed this for aslong as possible!! Shoma
Amazing, amazing, simply amazing! I didnt think anything was gonna be able to play a ps2 game at decent speeds for a long long time. Thanks to senor Gabest, I think the pS2 devolpers can work from there to code other games at resonable speeds alot faster now. YOSHA!!!!!
