i already tried changing vesamode in.cfg file but no luck gamecop please help.

hmm how many other apps you have open when operating winmugen? and how much ram does you pc have in the first place?

 

you may need to close eveything if you are running winmugen based on your systems resources.

 

as far as dos mugen, dunno about that, try changing vesa modes to vesa 1 or banked.
