Gryph
You can try this program: http://www.lavalys.com/products.php?lang=en Since I doubt you did any changes or any overclocking, the only thing I can think of is overheating. But does it only do this in Steam or other processor intensive programs?
Agozer
From what I gathered from his posts, only Steam seems to do it. Have you looked throught Steampowered's Q&A page?
BrOkEn ArRoW_29
My computer only ever freezes when I run Steam. And it always freezes about 20-30 minutes after I have opened it. Edited August 7, 2005 by BrOkEn ArRoW_29
Gryph
Steam even freezes your comp if you're not in a game and just sitting there. If so, then I suggest you hit the Steam Forums. That place is a cesspool but you might get some help there.

BrOkEn ArRoW_29
I've got a new revelation in the freezing of my PC. It's any full screen program that I run. From emulators to PC games if it's full screen it freezes my PC. I hope this will lead to solving my problem.
Agozer
I'm getting the feeling that your problems has more and more to do with your video card... Maybe it's dying or overheating or something... or busted drivers. What video card do you have anyway?

So how will I be able to fix this problem?I don't think it sucks. Sure, it's no match for modern cards, but back in the day it was the shizz. Does nVIDIA even make driver updates for TNT2 anymore?
