Okay, played it now.

 

It wasn't really all that scary to me (I'm numb to such things ), but I can definitely see where it was supposed to be scary. I'll definitely enjoy both the gameplay and story when it comes out.

I played it now and its definitly scarier then doom 3 and HL2.

The gfx are great. I only have 512 mb ram so I had to pull the settings back from max. Medium still looks great in this game.

 

I haven't decided yet if i'm gona buy it.

Downloading now.......don't technically meet the minimum requirements by just a bit, but it seems that within the last year or two, game publishers have actually been pushing minimum reqs for teh AVERAGE consumer who has a PC that runs half as well as it should. Built my own, tweaked the hell out of it and it runs better.......I'll give it a whirl.

I can run Doom 3 @ 800x600 max detail and I don't meet the requirements, I should at least be able to run this with some lower details settings.

ontopic: neither can I, i got some money and some games 2 buy. i personally cant wait for this and the warrior's to come out. $200 going towards that games are such a rip off these days
