universaldragon Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 I have downloaded a DC game that came in a.BIN file from a torrent site. (Rez.BIN and Rez.CUE to be precise) but I have no idea on how to play them while in their current state. Is there a way to turn them into.SBI or.CDI?Thanks, UniversalDragon
Gryph Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 You don't need to turn it into an ISO. Just download DaemonTools and mount the CUE file with it.
Wizard Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 If there was no cue file. You can mount the bin aswell by choosing to see all formats.
universaldragon Posted August 19, 2005 Author Posted August 19, 2005 Thanks for the fast reply, getting DT now. These boards are pretty fast, and from reading other topics really helpful too. Glad I found this, everyone rocks!
universaldragon Posted August 19, 2005 Author Posted August 19, 2005 Need new help, I got Daemon Tools, but how do I turn Rez.BIN into a file I can burn that will be self-bootable?
Gryph Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 After you mounted it it didn't work? If that's the case then you'd have to do some stuff (that I don't know how to do) to make a non-selfboot into a selfboot.
Wizard Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 Assuming the file is selfboot. It should be no problem. But a small search will reveal your answers. On this very board.
Agozer Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 You can burn it as is. Or create a CUE file like this: FILE "REZ.BIN" BINARY TRACK 01 MODE1/2048 INDEX 01 00:00:00 It's a bit more complicated if there are external audio tracks or if the audio tracks are on a separate data track in the CD image.
universaldragon Posted August 19, 2005 Author Posted August 19, 2005 Ah ok, it worked now, so how do I burn it?
Wizard Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 Alchoal 120%, Nero or any other burning program. Set the speed at less then x24 and RAW DAO mode.
universaldragon Posted August 19, 2005 Author Posted August 19, 2005 How do I make DaemonTools mount image to a drive that I have? It mounts it to Drive G, a drive I don't have.
