neo geo games trouble

Hi there can some one please help me please.I am quite new to the emulation world and have since downloaded kawaks 1.54.I have downloaded some neogeo roms put them in the roms neo geo folder but they dont workWill someone be able a to give me a solution to my problem in simplest terms please.

Before I'm saying anything else, I'm asking you a very simnple question: What game(s) are you trying to get working? Note that Kawaks 1.54 does not support King of Fighters 2003, SNK Vs. Capcom Chaos, Samurai Shodown V/Special, Metal Slug 5... and other "newer" games.

Thanks for your help but not even metal slug 4 works.When i try to load the games up when i audit it doesn,t find any please help.

Do you have the Neo-Geo BIOS and a set that is supported by Kawaks?

hi there, i was just wandering if there was a version of kawaks that does support all the newer games such as SamShoV/special, kof 2k3 etc. Which version of kawaks would be better to use?

There's no official version, but you could try kawaks 1.48 dev,

or one of the loader programs.

But dev does use its own specific sets, which are hard to find. With Loaders, there is no such issue.

No, do not rename anything. Kawaks can work with both rom and bin files.
