Marvel vs Capcom for MAME

Hey guys,

 

I have MAME ver. 79 for my XBOX and when I try to run Marvel vs Capcom it loads completely than there's a OUT OF MEMORY message that pops up, which I still have a few gigs left on my Hard Drive. Does anyone know how to fix this?

No, what you need is MAME 0.84 for the XBox. The newest MAMEoX 0.84, MAMEdoX v1.1, and MAMEoX128 Plus! are all based on MAME 0.84, feature virtual memory (HDD caching), and will run that game as well as many others that will give you the out of memory error on the version you are using.

oh okay but when I transfer the files is all I need to do is overwrite the files or is there something in particular I need to do?

You might need to delete the old MAMEoX save out of the memory manager on the standard XBox dashboard, but that should be about it. Other than that you just need to copy one of the versions I mentioned over to your XBox.

Mavel super hereos you will need to use MSHA.zip not MSH.zip clone in MAMEdOX 1.0 and 1.0 sorry have fixed this now for next release some time but MSHA.zip works perfect
