Gryph Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 It was released an hour and a half ago. I've been playing it since. It's a very fun game.
Diso Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 I think I'll try it out later in the near future. DoD was always one of my favorite FPS games.

wacko_jacko Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 Pity the latest steam updates are so bloody crap. Especially those with NVIDIA cards.

I've seen so many people assume they have already paid for DoD:Source. HA! Silver for life!
wacko_jacko Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 ^ What do you mean the nvida updates are crap ?<{POST_SNAPBACK}> I didn't say Nvidia updates were crap. I said that the new steam update is not good for those with Nvidia cards, like me. Keep getting BSOD errors during loading, and i you look in the steam forums, i aint the only one.

Shibathedog Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 there was a torrent for this like a week ago O_o I wonder what would happen if i pirated this, and somehow got to to play on my steam account. Mix of legally purchased and pirated games account...hmmmm Sounds like an account cancellation eventually and a waste of money >_<

Oh, you're part of the dumb group that believes Steam is evil and will eat souls. Well guess what, Steam isn't all that bad and I'm very pleased with my purchase. I will certainly buy whatever games I can through Steam. Support the developers!
Agozer Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 Steam has gotten better and better over time. At first, it was really clunky and awkward... now it still has some annoyances, but has had major improvements. Although I'm still wary of buying things online, especially when it involves other currencies. Call me really old-fashioned and stupid, but I just can't get into this online shopping thingamabob.
