Final burn alpha xxx audio problem.

I installed the lastest final burn emulator "fba_26_08" into my HDD.

I am finding now that the games i run on it have distorted audio.

Anybody else have that problem?.

Only the first final burn emu that came out ever had that problem.All the other releases didn't have a problem either.It seems this new one does though just like the first one.

hmm.. maybe i need to delete the whole save directory.. since i havent played fbaxxx in a while..maybe that will fix it.. never had issues with older pro builds

Here is the only place I ve read this problem, I can t tell, I haven t seen this, BTW I hope to get the new site ready soon, so I can correct this .

Well, I am now working a little on fba, I want to get rid of this bug, so what are your audio settings, are you sure your problem isn t that you play in 50Hz and that it is now at fullspeed (I need more precision for the fix BTW)?

low pass filter - no

adpcm/pcm interpolation ? ( i can see wht that is set on)

fm interpolation - hq mode

sample rate - 22050hz

50HZ of 60Hz?

see in debug mode -> if the framerate in the game goes from 58 to 62fps it is 50Hz and that is corrected.

for the adpcm option it is disabled when playing neogeo game that s why you can t hear the difference (at least in ng mode).

Might also be handy to know which games are giving the problem, or is it all of them?

could you try *removed* to see if you have any difference?

I changed the way PAL 50 is running in 60fps with a preprogrammed function, maybe that s your problem .

for me its not pal, since i have ntsc.. n i only get this sound prob when changing to games.. going to try n see if i can reproduce this glitch
