MSN Messenger 7.5

I have trouble signing onto it. When I start it, the program feezes and my internet stops working, but after I close it the internet works fine again. Any feedback on how to fix this problem? Thanks.

7.0 worked fine for me, but after installing 7.5 did this occur.

 

Well from what my friend tells me, when I sign on, my computer shows MSN Messenger as "signing in," while my friend see's me on. However my internet stops during that time....

I did.. I tried port forwarding and all that good stuff.

Haven't had much time to try 7.5 out my self so i really can't say. though the only problem i have with my msn is almost twice a week i get disconnected for a few hours. im not sure. microsoft screws around too much.

No sane person use the original Messenger anymore. Miranda, Trillian, GAIM or any other multi-Im client should be an obvious choice even if you don't use all of the available services.

Never happened to me in either Miranda or Trillian. You had bad luck.
