Dudu.exe Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Like this. Lynx r0x0rs. i think it will be the first port. Before that will be some homebrew standalone browsers. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> its a good solution to get fast news.. i guess a RSS FEED reader will be much better then this..
JaJa Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 But RSS feeds readers can't view the wikipedia can they?I agree an RSS reader is good for news, but a simple web browser is useful for finding stuff, mainly to prove your mate wrong.

pepsiman Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Even better than lynx is links2 on framebuffer mode:<{POST_SNAPBACK}>At DS resolution:
SausageBoy Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 If a reasonable way of scrolling could be implemented, such as the touch screen being a small preview of the site, and you could move around with that, it would work. We could also draw to a larger framebuffer, and hardware scale down to a suitable size. I have no idea how the quality of that is though.
death_entry Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 I just hope the text entry system is better then the one on the psp, man that sucks.
Dudu.exe Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 i was looking some webpages on my cell phone (siemens mc60) the resolution of the screen sucks but worked well, it just resize the images to fit on screen and shot all the text.. and the reading is great.. i guess a Xhtml browser on DS should work amazing!
