Max
Sup, Everything ran just fine for months but now all of a sudden I get banned from most servers (most importantly Rizon) because they say they have detected an Open Proxy. There is no Proxy set on my PC (its set on auto in the setting) and my IPS says they don't use any either. So overall, I haven't the foggiest what to do. Please help. Max
I get: our IP Is 203.99.53.127Proxy Detected Is 203.82.48.54 Any idea how I can remedy the situation?
Robert
203.99.53.127 resolves to mbl-99-53-127.dsl.net.pk which I assume is you. 203.82.48.54 resolves to pxy1-1.dsl.net.pk, which appears to be something done by your ISP. I'd suggest talking to them.
Max
I talked to them again and they said that they do no such thing, not to mention they can't because they are using a Linux based system.
James
I think it sucks people get banned for something they have no control over. I have a proxy as well yet its not set on my machine.
Madman
If your ISP says they dont use a proxy, try to set the autodetection setting to off.
James
I have that setting off and it still shows a proxy.
Max
I didn't reply cuz I wanted to check for a day or two, well, it seems to be working fine now. The only explanation I can think of is that a few days back I scanned my system with the program a-squared and took out about 8 malware files from my computer. After that I went to the Blitz something site and removed my ip from the black list. If that is in fact what helped me then the effect wasn't instant, you have to wait a few days.
