Quick GFX Card Question.

alrighty..i'm trying to get the x800 xt AIW and I noticed the memory type is GDDR3 and I'm pretty sure my mobo (asus k8v se deluxe) doesnt even support DDR2...does it matter that this gfx card's memory type is DDR3?
