OverlordMondo
im pretty sure ill never try playing this game ever, someone tried to explain it to me, and its based on the honor system so much from what it sounds like i could just walk into some game and be like IM LEVEL 99 WITH UBER NUKE SPELL AND YOU ALL DIE NOW AND IT ONLY USES 1MP BECUASE I FOUND IT IN THE HIDDEN CAVE OF TOILETRIES IN A PAST QUEST AND ITS UBER RARE AND I AM TEH ROXOR!!! maybe im just stupid and didnt understand what the hell he was saying though... yeah it was probably that...<{POST_SNAPBACK}>No dude, everything is controlled by the Dungeon Master. The Dungeon Master creates a campaign, and all players who wish to participate in it create their characters in the presence of the DM. All aspects of the game are controlled by the DM, and the game only progresses when the group is together. Your character is lost at the end of the campaign, unless the DM chooses to use it. MasterKevosavi
I wanted to play D&D. I learned the rules and everything a while ago. But there isn't anyone I know that plays it!
Gryph
I loved playing D&D back in high school. That all came to an end when our Dungeon Master left. But by that time we got tired of it.
Ryuken
if the dm controls the game couldn't he/she make it impossible to win then??
Smilee
I never played the game, although I had some friends that did. They always talked about the game but I didn't really mind.
Wizard
if the dm controls the game couldn't he/she make it impossible to win then??<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Actually, if you piss them off, the results range from either hailirous to down right devastating. Plus you know, D&D is actually a good way of socializing, dispite it's nerdy apparence.
Swithin
Why is it important this year? Last year : 3 decades. This year: prime-number anniversary? Wtf? Why make a big deal about it now?
