chankast in "slow motion"

I have a XP2400 + and a radeon 9200SE card, this should be enought to run Capcom vs SNK, but the game runs like in "slow motion"

 

I get about 30FPS, and the game runs in half-speed, with 60FPS the game runs perfectly, but I just get 60FPS at the menus

 

 

All my friends don't get 60FPS either, but the game run at normal speed... with the same version 0.25) and same BIOS

 

why is this happening ?

Becuse Chankast is very unoptimized and requires a beast of a computer to run all games at full speed. Not going to improve any time soon either. I have an AMD Athlon 64 3000+ with Radeon 9800 Pro, and some games are slow no matter what.

 

Chankast is not the Holy Grail of Dreamcast emulation, even though it is the only DC emulator worth having.

I'll its a shame the emulator has been discontinued =(

Chankast is not officially discontinued, nor do I believe it really is. Some developers are know to take very long pauses between releases.

 

Read the Chankast Compatibility List for some information on what games work and what don't.
