mocnicom
Can you give more info on this? Mariokart won't work with an old flashme version?
Samor
mario kart overwrites the old flashme.it's nothing too terrible - the failsafe of flashme can restore it, but it's better if it's fixed
MasterKevosavi
So you mean that if I had a flashme-ed DS, and I ran Mario Kart on it, it would change the firmware (making homebrew unable to run) unless I use this verson of flashme?
GrupstraNDS
Right, It breaks the firmware because it writes where the flashme firmware is, thinking there is nothing there (I assume). this new one solves this (we think), and shouldn't be a prob. Also: I updated my flashme with this new one, it falshed fine, however, I obviously can't test yet. Edited November 3, 2005 by GrupstraNDS

Thank YOU LOOPY
JaJa
It doesn't completley brick your DS.Don't say that you'll scare people. It makes it temporarily non-bootable, until you run the recovery code, which re-writes flashme. It doesn't change your firmware it overwrites a small section that should be unused. But flashme is in there, and so becomes damaged and unbootable.
