well.. if my Cellphone.. Siemens MC60 can run theses programs. for sure DS can.. Ds has better hardware and better resolution.. a webbrowser like this one will be great!

it wouldnt be possible/practical to port these programs so forget it. nothing stopping someone from cloning one though

i just tell if a cellphone can run apps like thgis.. make it for a ds can/must be done!

 

im not telling to do in java.. but if cen be done in java can be done in c/c++

It's quite possible to write a JVM to run on the DS. With some assembly-level optimisation, it might even run at a usable speed. And then you can run whatever Java apps you like.

 

Could be quite a fun project, in fact. (Not that I'd take it up, having never coded for the DS.)

But yeah, He didnt mean a literal port, just an app that does those things
