PAL Problems

Once again i have a PAL DVD IMG, which needs to be converted to NTSC DVD, Any ideas?

The only think I can suggest is Doom9 forum as they cover dvd aspects of burning and converting etc.

 

(if its for PC Whats wrong with PAL you will get a better picture)

Yeah i meant the video is in PAL format, Its already region free kdash

 

None of my DVD players support playing PAL DVDs on NTSC TVs because my good one broke. I watch all my movie on my TV.

Well, one way would be to extract it and using TMPG Enc to re-encode it to NTSC DVD then re-author it.

Yeah i managed to get the VOBs out, but TMPG wont open VOB files, So i need something to convert to MPEG2 and then ill use that to make a DVD image (or nero could probably just open a MPEG 2 and do it right?)

Yes, Nero Vision(Nero's DVD editior) can open and burn from mpeg2 files. Regular Nero would have to go thru an external process of authoring it. Such as using TMPEG DVD Author or something similar.

okay, Im still stuck on converting the VOBs to MPEG2 though

Google up "Mpeg2VCR" It will convert VOBs to MPEG2.

 

If that doesn't work, demux the vob with ReJig or any other program capable of demuxing.

 

If that doesn't work, you should hit up the afterdawn.com forums. Lots of people there to help. Or doom9. I prefer afterdawn, thats just me.
