Any soccer fan will have heard of George Best, a legend of the game.

ManUtdWeb is deeply saddened to learn of the death of British footballing legend George Best. The Northern Irish international, perhaps the greatest footballer of all time, tragically lost his battle against alcohol at the age of 59 in a West London hospital.

Well supposedly "Pelé once stated that George Best was the best player he ever saw play and named him as one of the 125 best living footballers in his 2004 FIFA 100 list."

George Best was very good, but he was no Pele. Both players made a lot of defenders look very silly.
