not updating

after i got my pc formatted im now not able to windows update.apparently i dont have administrater priviliges. after checking my priviliges i am an administrater.

 

any ideas people of 1emulation?

first course of action.

 

log into safe mode, and it'll show a different admin account (overrides ALL the other accounts)

 

check that out, and adjust your user settings (delete and remake a profile if you must), and then boot normally and try again.

 

if not....

you might be using a pirated version, or a version that's been reported pirated, so you can't get past windows genuine update.

 

there are ways past that, but i kinda forgot them... a google search would help.

i got no luck now that i deleted my profile is there anyway to get it back cause all my internet favs were on there?

i got sp2 and i dont see a genuine advantage thing also how do you view all the plug-ins anyway

ok i fixed my update thing but still all my firefox bookmarks are gone.Thats like years worth of stuff

Like I said many times before, once you lose them they're gone for good unless you made a backup.

i didnt format i deleted an account so there still no hope for my bookmarks
