uhh...mpeg-2 is used in normal dvd's too; I guess the mpeg-2 data in blu-ray will just be 5 times bigger than what's normally in dvd's

 

quite frankly, I really am not surprised

That's how they showed it before...

 

Except the Mpeg2 was largely less compressed vs a normal DVD9.
