AEP Emulation Page reports that SheepShaver has been updated today. SheepShaver is a PowerPC Apple Macintosh Emulator for MacOS X, Linux, and Windows. Below are the changes in this version.

1-Add fullscreen DGA mode via fbdev in Linux

2-Add screen prefs item a-la Basilisk II

3-Add missing lvsl/lvsr instructions in AltiVec emulation (Adobe FrameMaker)

4-Add support for old toolchain (gcc “2.96”, glibc 2.2)

5-Add user-space network emulation (ether slirp in prefs file)

6-Add Ethernet and Serial support to Windows

7-Add GTK+2 based GUI to Windows

8-Add initial port to Darwin/x86 with JIT

1-Improve portability of FPU emulation code to non C99 capable systems

2-Improve interrupt processing in emulated mode

3-Improve idle wait on Linux platforms

1-Properly fail to load MacOS < 8.1 with NewWorld ROMs

1-Fix native execution in Linux/PowerPC

2-Fix PowerPC test-and-set implementation (fix clipboard)

3-Fix Ethernet support in Linux, avoid hangs

4-Fix occasional hangs during interrupt processing

5-Fix High Resolution Timing code for Linux

6-Fix support for 4+ GB hard disk images

7-Fix SDL/x11 native cursor acceleration

8-Fix sheep_net driver to properly work with Linux kernels up to 2.6.11
